The Hillsboro - Grange City Covered Bridge was built 1860. This 86-foot long, 14 feet wide single span, Burr truss with multiple king posts using red stone abutments design, carried the load of Ky 111 over the Fox Creek in Fleming County KY. Built as a twin to the Ringo's Mill Bridge, its appearance has changed over time. In 1926, the horizontal wood siding was replaced with corrugated sheet metal and the portals were altered. The 1983 restoration work replaced the metal siding with wood.
The January 25, 1937 record flood mark cut into the bridge timber is 5 feet and 9 inches above the floor.
